Of all the cured hams in Spain, only about 1% achieve this distinction, which is reserved for those made from purebred Iberian pigs, raised freely in the dehesas and fed exclusively on acorns — and this is one of them.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

Cover the sliced area with the ham’s own fat or a clean cloth to prevent drying.

Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct light and drafts, at a temperature between 15°C and 25°C.

Slice only what you intend to consume, keeping the rest covered to preserve flavor and texture.

Rotate the ham once a section is finished to ensure even slicing on both sides.
