Our 75% Iberian Breed Acorn-Fed Iberian Ham (D.O.P.) is distinguished by its delicate marbling of fat, giving it a marbled appearance and exceptional juiciness, along with a smooth and refined texture. It comes from the finest Iberian pigs, raised freely during the montanera season and fed exclusively on acorns. Its minimum curing period is 42 months.

This ham has a high content of monounsaturated fatty acids, especially oleic acid—similar to that found in olive oil—which helps maintain healthy cholesterol levels. It is also a rich source of protein, vitamin B1, iron, zinc, and magnesium, making it a completely natural and nutritious product.

A special selection of Iberian acorn-fed ham from the finest Iberian pigs, raised freely during the montanera season and fed primarily on acorns. Its minimum curing period is 42 months.

The 75% Iberian breed acorn-fed ham from Hermanos Hoyos is a true delight for food lovers. Made from pigs with notable Iberian genetic purity, these animals are raised in the Spanish dehesas and fed mainly on acorns, giving the ham its unmistakable flavor and exquisite texture.

Each ham is meticulously selected and undergoes a curing process that extends for over three years, allowing it to develop a deep and complex flavor. The meat is lean and tender, with fine marbling that provides a truly unique taste.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

  • Cover the sliced area with the ham’s own fat or a clean cloth to prevent it from drying out.

  • Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct light and drafts, at a temperature between 15°C and 25°C.

  • Slice only what you plan to consume, keeping the rest covered to preserve its flavor and texture.

  • Rotate the ham once a section is finished to ensure even slicing on both sides.
