Our 50% Iberian Breed Bellota Ham is distinguished by its delicate marbling of fat, which gives it a marbled appearance and exceptional juiciness, as well as a smooth and refined texture. It comes from the finest Iberian pigs fed on acorns (bellota) in free-range montanera conditions. Its minimum curing time is 42 months.
This ham has a high content of monounsaturated fatty acids, especially oleic acid, similar to that found in olive oil, which helps maintain healthy cholesterol levels. Additionally, it is a rich source of proteins, vitamin B1, iron, zinc, and magnesium, making it a completely natural and nutritious product.

The 50% Iberian Breed Bellota Ham from Hermanos Hoyos is made from pigs raised in Spain, which are a crossbreed of Iberian and other select breeds. These pigs enjoy a balanced diet that includes acorns, which gives the ham its characteristic flavor and smoothness in every bite. The curing process is meticulous, with a maturation period exceeding two years, achieving a tender texture and a perfect marbling of fat that enhances its flavor.
Each ham is carefully selected and undergoes a curing process lasting more than three years, allowing the development of its complex and deep flavor. The meat is lean and tender, with fat infiltration that provides a truly unique taste.

RECOMMENDATIONS:
Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct light and drafts, preferably refrigerated.
Enjoy at room temperature: Remove the ham from storage about 20 minutes before serving to allow it to warm up. This helps release flavors and aromas better, and lets the fat melt perfectly.
Slice only what you need for each serving.
To preserve leftover ham, if you won’t consume the entire piece immediately, wrap it in cling film or a clean cotton cloth and keep it refrigerated.
