Of all the cured hams in Spain, only about 1% achieve this distinction, which is reserved for those made from purebred Iberian pigs, raised freely in the dehesas and fed exclusively on acorns — and this is one of them.

Don Pedro Ham, a gem from Hermanos Hoyos, is an exceptional product that represents the highest quality in 100% acorn-fed Iberian hams. This ham is unique in its category, standing out due to the exclusive acorn-based diet and natural resources the pigs enjoy. The result is meat exquisitely marbled with fat, giving it an unparalleled flavor and a smooth texture. The Don Pedro brand is synonymous with tradition and excellence in the production of Iberian acorn-fed hams, and is a true delicacy appreciated by the most discerning palates.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

  • Cover the sliced area with the ham’s own fat or a clean cloth to prevent drying.

  • Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct light and drafts, at a temperature between 15°C and 25°C.

  • Slice only what you intend to consume, keeping the rest covered to preserve flavor and texture.

  • Rotate the ham once a section is finished to ensure even slicing on both sides.
