A special selection of 100% Iberian acorn-fed ham, sourced from the finest Iberian pigs raised in the wild during the montanera season and fed exclusively on acorns. It undergoes a minimum curing period of 42 months.

The 100% Iberian acorn-fed ham from Hermanos Hoyos is a true culinary gem. Sourced from purebred Iberian pigs raised in open pastures (dehesas), this ham is the result of centuries-old tradition and a meticulous production process. During the montanera period, pigs feed exclusively on acorns and natural grasses, resulting in meat that is rich in flavor and aroma.

Each ham from Hermanos Hoyos is carefully selected and traditionally cured for over two years. The result is lean, juicy meat with exquisite marbling that delivers an unparalleled flavor. The texture is soft and delicate, with nuances that capture the essence of the dehesa. This ham represents the pinnacle of Spanish gastronomy and is a true delicacy for the most discerning palates.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

  • Cover the sliced area with the ham’s own fat or a clean cloth to prevent it from drying out.

  • Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct light and drafts, at a temperature between 15°C and 25°C.

  • Slice only the amount you intend to consume, keeping the rest covered to preserve flavor and texture.

  • Rotate the ham once a section is finished to ensure even slicing on both sides.
